31.25 hours per week, Term Time Only

Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2027 (subject to the continuation of pupil funding)

BWMAT Band C, SCP 5-6 (£26,427 - £26,847 FTE, pro rata)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of children with additional needs, helping them to achieve success, develop confidence and experience school as a place where they belong and thrive. Experience of working with children with additional needs within a school environment is essential.

The Role

Working under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo, you will provide high-quality support for pupils with special educational needs, either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. You will play a key role in helping children access learning, develop independence and reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will:

• Build positive and nurturing relationships with pupils.
• Support children to engage fully in learning and school life.
• Promote inclusion, independence and self-esteem.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and families.
• Use initiative, patience and creativity to overcome barriers to learning.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive and caring environment where every child can flourish.
