We are seeking an experienced, innovative and committed SENDCo to join our team and drive exceptional provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of inclusive practice and a passion for empowering staff, pupils, and families.

About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Lead and Develop SEND Provision
- Champion high-quality teaching and learning that enables strong progress for all pupils with SEND.
- Ensure effective identification, assessment, and provision rooted in the principles of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Oversee EHCP processes, Annual Reviews, pupil profiles, and targeted support plans.
Coach, Mentor and Develop Staff
- Model outstanding inclusive classroom practice.
- Provide high-impact coaching and professional development to teaching and support staff.
- Build staff confidence in adaptive teaching, behaviour support, and graduated approaches to intervention.
- Lead whole‑school training on SEND, safeguarding links, and emerging national guidance.
Work Strategically with Leaders and External Agencies
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to set the strategic direction of SEND.
- Develop strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals (e.g., speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, social care).
- Ensure the school meets statutory duties and maintains robust documentation and data tracking.
