- Pay Grade: North Somerset Grade JG3 SCP 5-6
- 12 hours per week, term-time only
- (£24,790.00 - £25,183.00 pro-rata)
- Actual Salary £6,846.10 - £6,954.63 - Permanent
- Working Hours 8:45-3:15pm Monday and Wednesday (tbc)
What we are looking for
The children, staff and governors are seeking to appoint an excellent teaching assistant who is committed to promoting high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour within a nurturing and motivating learning environment, where children feel safe, valued and enjoy learning.
We are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant for 12 hours a week on a permanent contract.
The successful candidate will need to:
- show commitment to high standards for all pupils in both learning and behaviour
- have a keen eye for progress and how best to support and maximise this for all learners
- be responsive to the children’s needs academically, socially and emotionally
- hold safeguarding for all at the forefront of their responsibilities
- work proactively and effectively within the wider school team and community and contribute to the wider life of the school
- get pleasure from and be enthused by seeing all around them succeed
- support and embrace the Christian ethos of the school
