School Administration Assistant

37 hours per week, Full Time 

Fixed Term

Term Time Only, 44.67 weeks per year 

The Headteacher and Governors of St Aidan’s Church of England Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant who has ideally worked within a busy school office. The ideal candidate should have good customer service, ICT and communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate to join our vibrant primary academy as we continue our journey towards outstanding. As a member of the Cidari Academy Trust we work alongside other schools to continue to raise standards whilst preserving a very distinctive Christian ethos.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Care passionately for all our children, no matter what their barriers are, or the challenges they bring into school
  • Build professional relationships with children, staff, parents and outside agencies
  • Have some knowledge and experience of safeguarding, behaviour support and pastoral support
  • Demonstrate good communication skills that allow effective communication with all levels of school staff, governors, pupils and parents
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Very good organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
