The Governing Body are looking to appoint a Science Technician to join a friendly science department providing support for the teaching of Science from KS3 to KS4. The successful candidate will be working in the Science department, assisting in the maintenance and provision of the science laboratories and resources and assuring a safe working environment for teachers and students. The Science Technician role will also involve setting up the laboratories for science lesson experiments.
As a Science Technician, your duties will include preparing teaching resources, materials and equipment for lessons, supporting the class teacher and student's during lessons, offering technical advice to staff and students, monitoring levels of materials and raising orders where necessary and inputting data onto the school's ICT systems.
