Hours: 25  per week (Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 14:30 with a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak), term time only including INSET days. Flexibility possible for the right candidate

Salary (FTE):  Grade 10, £26,824 - £28,142 per annum

The Role

Are you an organised, detail-focused Finance Administrator looking for a role where your work will make a real difference to the lives of children and young people?

We are seeking a Finance Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day financial administration of the school, including supporting purchase and sales ledger processes and the collection and recording of income.

You’ll be part of a welcoming office team, working closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager to help ensure our financial and administrative processes run smoothly.

The successful candidate will:

✅ Have some experience of working in a finance or administrative role (school experience is desirable but not essential)

✅ Be confident using Microsoft Office applications

✅ Have good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team

✅ Be approachable and communicate clearly with both children and adults

✅ Be able to work in a busy environment and manage their workload effectively

✅ Have a good standard of general education, typically evidenced by GCSEs (including Maths and English) at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)

⭐ An NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant area, such as Business Administration or Finance, would be desirable but is not essential
