Salary: Grade 12, £25,185 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £3,422.76 p.a.)

Permanent: 6 per week  (Tuesday to Friday, 7.15am-8.45am),  term time only to exclude INSET days (38 weeks)

The Role

Are you looking for a rewarding role in education where you can make a real difference to children’s day before school even begins?

Staple Hill Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Breakfast Club Assistant to join our team for 6 hours per week (four days per week) on a permanent basis. 

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for pupils before the start of the school day.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is motivated, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
  • Builds positive relationships with children while maintaining professional boundaries and high expectations.
  • Enjoys facilitating play and engaging children in activities.
  • Communicates confidently with parents and staff.
  • Is willing to complete safeguarding training and always treats children with dignity and respect.
  • Has a good sense of humour and enjoys working as part of a team.

 Fluency Duty 

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
