The Role:
Staple Hill Primary School is seeking to appoint an exceptional and enthusiastic Early Years teacher to join our dedicated team.
This is a fixed-term position until 31st August 2027, covering the sabbatical of the substantive post-holder. In the first instance, the role will be based in our EYFS class from Easter to Summer 2026. Due to planned staff movement across the school, there is the potential for the role to transition to a Year 1 class from September 2026 to August 2027.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for all learners, ensuring a fully inclusive approach to teaching and learning. You will deliver high-quality teaching, support all pupils to achieve their full potential, and promote strong levels of achievement and self-esteem for every child, regardless of background, ethnicity, gender, or disability.

Fluency Duty
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
