Salary: Grade 9, £29,540 – £32,061 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £22,318.17 - £24,222.84 p.a.)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 32.5 per week (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break), term time only including INSET days (39 weeks)

The Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences. You will support the planning, preparation and delivery of engaging provision, working with children through both adult-led and child-initiated activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification
- Experience of working within an EYFS or primary setting
- Experience supporting learning to achieve positive outcomes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- A caring, patient and empathetic approach
- A genuine passion for Early Years education
Fluency Duty
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
