Hours: 6 hours and 15 minutes per week (12pm – 1.15pm Monday to Friday) Term Time only to exclude inset days (38 Weeks)

The Role:

The Tynings Primary School is seeking a dedicated and reliable Lunchbreak Supervisor to join our hard-working and supportive staff team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and positive behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime period.
The successful candidate will:
- Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possess a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills while also capable of using initiative.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Maintain warmth, care, and full commitment to children's safety and wellbeing.
- Consistently maintain a calm approach in interactions with children.
- Support the school's approach to outdoor play, embracing our 'whatever the weather' ethos.
- Act as a vital link between children, lunchbreak staff, and other school staff.
- Be willing to fully participate in training and professional development.
- Adhere strictly to standards of confidentiality.

Fluency Duty
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
