Start Date: 22nd April 2025 or sooner

Salary: Grade 10 £25,992 to £27,269 FTE per annum -  Actual Salary (Pro-rata): £9,818.79 - £10,301.19 p.a.

Contract: Temporary until 31st August 2026 subject to external funding. 

Hours: 16 hours 15 minutes per week (9:00am – 12:15pm) Monday to Friday, term time only to include INSET days (39 weeks)

The Role:

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and motivated person to the position of teaching assistant. The successful candidate will:

  • Have NVQ2 / L2 qualification or equivalent
  • Have experience and /or qualifications in working with pupils with Special Needs and be willing to undertake further professional development.
  • Be competent in the use of IT.
  • Be flexible and versatile in a rapidly changing work environment.
  • Enjoy working closely with colleagues as part of an effective team.
  • Be highly motivated and well organised.
  • Have high expectations of all children in every aspect of school life
  • Have an understanding of inclusion

Fluency Duty:

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
