🍎📚 Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant (x4) working with children with additional needs at Two Mile Hill Primary School! 📚🍎

Start date:  01/09/2026

Hours: 30  per week (Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 15:15 with a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak), term time only including INSET days

Salary (FTE):  £26,824 to £28,142 per annum

Salary (Actual): £18,707.23 to £19,626.41  per annum

Contract:  Fixed-term until 31/08/2027, to work a child(children) with additional needs. This is linked to time limited external funding.

The Role

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to a child’s day?  

The ideal candidate will be able to:

Assist and support small groups and individual pupils

• Collaborate with teachers: Work closely with the classroom teachers to plan and deliver

     tailored activities that meet the unique needs of our children.

•  support children in developing of their communication, social skills and emotional regulation.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be enthusiastic, patient and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners

• Have a flexible, proactive approach to supporting both individual and group learning needs

• Be eager to work with preverbal, autistic children, understanding their specific developmental and communication challenges.

• Be a team player who is passionate about working in a supportive and collaborative school environment.

• Be confident in managing challenging behaviours and supporting children’s emotional regulation

• Positive handling / Team Teach training would be an advantage as the role may require you to use these skills.

• Will have experience of working in Early Years

Fluency Duty
