Salary (FTE): £26,824 - £28,142 per annum
Salary (Actual): £12,471.49 - £13,084.28 per annum
Contract: Fixed-term until 31/08/27, pending a review of staffing requirements

The Role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for our year 1 and 2 classes. Working mornings Monday to Friday, you will be joining a dynamic team of teachers and assistants who encourage children to always do their very best. You will play a key role in supporting high-quality provision, helping to ensure that all pupils can access learning effectively.
It would be desirable if the successful candidate held a Level 3 qualification, but this is not essential.
The successful candidate will:
- have experience working in a primary school setting
- Be passionate about making a difference to all children
- Have good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- Have experience supporting children’s learning, ideally within a school or classroom environment
- Be aspirational for every child and believe that all pupils can learn – even if they haven’t learnt something yet
- Be flexible and able to adapt their practice to support effective learning
- Demonstrate strong pupil management skills, ensuring that learning continues in a calm, structured environment
- Build strong, positive relationships with colleagues and children
- Be a reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn and continually improve

Fluency Duty
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
