Hours:
14.50 – 18.05 Monday to Friday. 3.25 hours per day. 16.25 hours per week (Long Session)
16.30 – 18.00 Monday to Friday. 1.5 hours per day. 7.5 hours per week (Short Session)
Weeks: Term-time only plus INSET days (39 weeks per year)
Salary: Scale Point 2. £28,221 FTE.

Stanley Primary School is a mainstream school which sits in the heart of the local Teddington community. We are looking for After School Club Playworkers to help create a warm, nurturing and fun-filled end to the school day. As an After School Club Playworker you will collect the children from their classrooms, provide a healthy light mea,l and supervise and play with the children in activities and games.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collecting the children from their classrooms;

• Preparing a healthy light meal, ensuring that children’s medical, allergy and dietary requirements are met;

• Providing a varied, safe and stimulating play environment both indoors and outdoors;

• Plan activities for the children taking in to account their interests and age groups.

The right candidate will have a commitment to the happiness, wellbeing and progress of all the children in the After School Club; a ‘can-do’ attitude; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and previous experience of working with primary school aged children.
