Teacher of Religious Studies

Contract: Part time

Duration: Temporary (February 2026 until August 2026)

Stanwell School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated teacher of Religious Studies to join our successful Religion, Value and Ethics (RVE) department from February 2026 on a temporary fixed term contract for one day a week (Friday). All pupils in Key Stage 4 cover the full Religious Studies GCSE (compulsory) and we are proud that on average 80% of the Year 11 cohort achieve C or above.

The post would be suitable for ECT/NQTs or teachers looking to further develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment. Applicants should be able to teach Religious Studies across all Key Stages. The Department delivers WJEC GCSE Religious Studies as well as AS and A Level Religious Studies. Many of our A Level students go on to study at leading universities including Oxbridge and members of the Russell Group.
