Hello from the Headteacher

I am very proud and privileged to be able to wish you a warm welcome to St Barnabas Primary school on behalf of the Governors, staff and children.

We are a one form entry primary school and nursery school at the heart of the North Common, Warmley community. Our school community is made up of a Nursery class for 2 to 4 years old and seven primary classes.

Here at St Barnabas we take great pride in our holistic approach and believe in developing the whole child, enabling them to learn in their own unique way on their learning journey from Nursery to Year 6.

Our teaching team are committed to the children’s development and strong working relationships are built with all our families through positive partnerships. We are committed to proving an excellent education for our children, through an inspiring curriculum where our young people are motivated to make positive contributions to their local and global communities.

As a Church of England Primary school St Barnabas is dedicated to a foundation of core Christian values:

RESPONSIBILITY, RESPECT, PERSEVERENCE, WISDOM, COMPASSION and FORGIVENESS

Which are woven through all we do in order to provide a secure, safe and happy learning environment for our young people. Together we will nurture a love of learning, encourage children to make positive impact on the lives of others and develop the knowledge, skills and values to engage with the world now and in the future.

Our website contains a wealth of information for you to explore. However, we know and respect the uniqueness of all children, so if you cannot find what you are looking for on our website, I encourage you to contact me directly via the school office.

A warm welcome to Team St Barnabas.
