Location: Hybrid / Leaf Trust Shared Services Hub

Salary: Grade 6, £39,513 - £42,708 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £11,635.02 - £12,575.82 p.a.)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 13 per week to be worked flexibly across 2 or more days per week, term time only to exclude INSET days (38 weeks)

The Role

Governance is at the heart of The Leaf Trust, shaping strategic direction and ensuring accountability across our family of primary schools. As Trust Governance Lead, you’ll play a vital role in developing and embedding best practice, supporting Trustees, Governors, and school leaders to deliver excellence in governance.

We’re looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in governance, compliance, and strategy. You’ll lead governance policy and training, ensure alignment with statutory requirements, and provide guidance at every level to drive high-impact decision-making.

  • Proven expertise in governance and compliance within education or the charity sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders.
