SEN Teaching Assistant

Start date: As soon as possible 

Hours: 25 hours per week, term time only (Monday to Friday 8.45am – 2.45pm) 

Salary: Hay 10 (£11,857 - £12,583 per annum) 

This is a temporary post subject to funding that will end when the funding ceases or the child leaves the school.

We are looking for a keen practitioner who can work independently and take initiative while developing purposeful, strong relationships with children, staff and parents. 

In particular, the successful candidate will have had successful experience of: 

• Supporting pupils with Tourette’s syndrome, ADHD, ASD. 

• Delivering a differentiated, personalised curriculum that meets the learning needs of the pupil.

• Speech and language interventions.

• Interventions that support emotional regulation e.g. Zones of Regulation, ELSA.

• Supporting pupils with sensory processing needs.

This is a fixed term post that is matrix funded. 

Visits to the school are not possible during lock down, for more information please contact the school office for an appointment. We would like the successful applicant to start as soon as possible following appointment.

Interviews will take place on Tuesday 15th December 2020 from 9am onwards.
