Examinations Invigilators

£13.45 per hour

We are looking to expand our friendly team of Exam Invigilators to support with the smooth running of both external and internal exams at our College.

Key responsibilities are to:

Invigilate examinations following documented processes, procedures and regulations to ensure examinations are run in a secure, confidential and suitable environment

Ensure both students and the Academy comply with regulations. To ensure all students have a consistent experience of examinations

Lay out examinations with relevant examination materials as directed by the Line Manager

Assist students entering the examination room

Record attendance/absence from the examination by completing examination register

In addition to supporting within the main examination hall, some members of the Invigilator team work with students who have special exam access arrangements, such as those students who are entitled to a scribe or reader for their examinations.

Our team of Invigilators work on a casual basis during the examinations windows. It is important that you can be flexible about your working hours as the number of hours offered will vary and the work is seasonal, since it is based around examination times only.

Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills, with an ability to deal with matters calmly, swiftly and assertively, and must be reliable, punctual and flexible. Training and guidance will be provided.
