Media Technician – Part Time (18.5 hours per week, Term Time Only)

About the Role
In this hands-on and varied position, you will provide expert technical support across our Film and Media departments. You’ll guide students with filming and editing, using green screen and chroma key, website creation, and print design. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, values creative education, and is looking for a rewarding part‑time, term‑time only role.

Essential Skills & Experience
Software:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Audition
- Wix website design
- Media and Film technical skills
- Short film production
- Editing
- Website development
- Print media design
- Podcast production
- Experience with media production equipment such as:
- DSLR cameras
- Tripods
- Rode shotgun microphones
- Studio lighting
- Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with A Level Media Studies and Film Studies courses
- An understanding of the wider filmmaking and media/marketing industries
Additional Responsibilities
As part of our creative community, you’ll also support filming and photography for key college events such as our enrolment and open evening events.
