We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher of Criminology and Law to join our vibrant and student-centred team. The successful candidate will have experience in bringing expertise and enthusiasm to both A-Level and BTEC teaching, delivering outstanding lessons that prepare students for higher education and careers in the legal and criminal justice sectors.
About the Role
You will:
Plan and teach well-structured, engaging lessons in both Criminology and Law.
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, fostering student independence and high achievement.
Use a range of assessment methods to monitor progress and guide future learning.
Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment opportunities, and departmental collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
A relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE), or working towards one.
Experience teaching Criminology and Law at both A-Level and BTEC.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire a love for learning.
A commitment to inclusive education, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
