Teacher of Textiles - 0.4 - 0.5 FTE

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach on a 0.4-0.5 FTE basis within a thriving and dynamic department that places creativity, academic rigour, and student support at its core.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an exceptional individual who:

Holds a relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).

Has experience teaching Art and Design at A-Level, with a strong understanding of curriculum requirements in Textiles.

Has a proven ability to inspire students and deliver high-quality teaching that leads to excellent outcomes.

Demonstrates confidence and experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite as a core part of classroom delivery.

Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a genuine commitment to inclusive, student-centred learning.

Brings a growth mindset, creativity, and the ability to adapt to meet diverse learning needs.

What You’ll Do:

Plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons in Graphics that stretch and challenge students.

Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and academic guidance.

Foster a nurturing, purposeful, and professional learning environment where students thrive.

Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and curriculum development.

Participate in ongoing CPD and collaborate with a passionate team committed to continuous improvement.
