We seek to appoint, to start as soon as possible, an enthusiastic part-time Finance Assistant to work within our friendly team. This is a part time position (20-25 hours per week) for a fixed term of 12 months.
The successful candidate will have some administrative experience ideally in finance or accounting and be confident or willing to learn to use excel and our accountancy software. Experience of working in a school would be an advantage, however more important is the ability to work together with a small team who cover for one another as required.
He/she will be a well-organised and efficient person with precise attention to detail.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to use their initiative and meet agreed deadlines. The ability to work calmly under pressure is essential. The person appointed will have good verbal and communication skills, and be an effective team player.
