Welcome to St Georges. I am both privileged and delighted to have been appointed as Headteacher in April 2022 and look forward to many years leading such a wonderful, thriving community. I am really enjoying building relationships with the whole community.
St Georges is a joy-filled place for children and adults to be every day. We are revisiting the vision, mission and values. The direction we are taking in is relevant and deeply rooted in citizenship, stewardship and the concept of caring for the Earth in partnership with God. Our school is a place of kindness and courage where everyone is encouraged to seize opportunities and take risks in order to develop as independent, curious individuals who understand the importance of their place in the world. We are developing our vision within a sense of Crew. We believe that there is no place for passengers and that we must all row together. With a clear sense of direction, community and spirituality St Georges is a very special, successful place to learn and grow.
Draft Vision & Mission
"All things are possible for one who believes" (Mark 9:23)
“Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can.' (John Wesley)
Our vision is that with faith and belief we can transform lives not only in St Georges but beyond in our local and global communities, creating global citizens of the future who are stewards of the Earth.
