School Business Manager

St Gregory the Great is a Catholic school located in Oxford, within the Diocese of Birmingham and is part of The Pope Francis Catholic Multi Academy Company (PFMAC).

We are looking to appointment an experience School Business Manager who is forward thinking, has drive, passion and commitment to deliver outstanding support.

This is a new post arising as a result of a growing MAC and where colleagues within the school have moved to the PFMAC Central Team, thus creating a great opportunity for the right person.

With a new Headteacher in post, this is a key appointment to the School, the post holder will be expected to provide leadership in all business related aspects of the school in support of its core purpose of championing each and every student within the school to achieve the best possible education.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of leading

• Financial Resource Management

• Administration Management

• Facility and Property Management

• Health & Safety Management

• Human Resource Management

• Management Information and ICT

• Oversight management of school support staff


Whilst our ideal candidate will have a systematic and organised approach to work within such a busy environment, key attributes also include strong interpersonal skills and a calm and rational approach to problem solving.
