Teacher of Science (Biology)

The Governing Body of St Joseph’s Catholic School & Sixth Form Centre is seeking to appoint a committed, well-qualified and passionate teacher. Applicants will need to demonstrate a clear sense of purpose and high expectations within the Science department at St. Joseph’s. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, community-focused and innovative school and to work with wonderful students, committed staff and a supportive leadership team.

You would be joining a passionate and talented staff, and a department that achieves strong results for pupils at KS4 and Post 16.

- be able to teach Science in KS3/KS4 and Biology in KS4, the ideal candidate would be able to teach Biology in KS5;

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to and fully support the Catholic Ethos of the school and applicants will need to complete the CES application form explaining why they are suitable for the role.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday, 15th May, 2024 at 12 noon. Shortlisting will take place shortly after the deadline and interviews will take place the following week for shortlisted candidates. Successful shortlisted candidates will be notified by Friday 17th May 2024.
