Governors at St Julian’s School are seeking a dedicated, hard working and innovative Deputy Head of English to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our English department.

At St Julian’s School, we are committed to providing a rich and stimulating English curriculum that equips our students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed academically and in life. We ensure that our students receive a comprehensive and well-rounded education in English through the teaching of both language and literature from KS3 through to examination courses in KS4. We also offer students the opportunity to study A-Level English Literature at KS5.

As the Deputy Head of English, you will play a key leadership role within our department. You will support the Head of English in the strategic direction of the department, the monitoring and evaluation of curriculum provision and subsequent improvement planning, the development of teaching and learning and the line management of staff.

If you are a passionate and highly effective teacher with a desire to lead and inspire others, we would love to hear from you. Join us at St Julian’s School and help shape the future of English education for our students.

For further information, please contact Nia Dale (Personal Assistant to the Headteacher)
