Inclusion Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and highly committed Inclusion Teacher to lead our successful and well-established Inclusion Hub.

As part of a Local Authority and Learning Partners Multi Academy Trust pilot project, we are receiving funding towards developing our well established and successful school Inclusion Hub . The success of the initiative has enabled us to create a fully resourced, welcoming and nurturing learning environment that is now an integral part of our school's provision. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is passionate about ensuring every child thrives and achieves their full potential.

The Inclusion Hub supports small groups of pupils who may struggle to access the full curriculum, have identified gaps in their learning, require targeted intervention, or would benefit from bespoke provision to accelerate progress. The hub provides a flexible and responsive approach, enabling children to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to succeed in their mainstream classroom.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Inclusion Hub.

• Manage and support the team of HLTAs and Teaching Assistants delivering interventions and targeted teaching programmes.

• Work closely with class teachers to plan, coordinate and review provision for individual pupils and groups.

• Assess, monitor and track pupils' progress against personalised targets and planned outcomes.

• Provide regular feedback to teachers, leaders and parents, ensuring that progress and next steps are clearly communicated.

• Develop high-quality intervention programmes that meet the needs of individual learners.

• Champion inclusion and ensure that all pupils receive the support they need to make strong progress academically, socially and emotionally.

• Contribute to whole-school approaches to inclusion and adaptive teaching.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of inclusive teaching and learning.

• Has experience of supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and barriers to learning.

• Can use assessment effectively to identify needs, plan provision and evaluate impact.

• Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues and external agencies.

• Has strong leadership and organisational skills and is able to motivate and develop support staff.

• Is passionate about ensuring every child can succeed.
