We have an exciting opportunity for a pro-active and detail oriented School Finance Assistant to join our busy front office team here at our happy, vibrant and forward thinking school.
As a School Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the smooth financial operation of the school, enabling us to focus on what truly matters – the children's' growth and development.
20 hours per week, 39 weeks (term time)
Salary PS4: (£22,475 to £24,193 FTE). Starting pro-rata salary £10,742 (pay award pending)
Working hours are 20 hours per week, ideally to be worked over 4 days, but there is some flexibility in this.
As a member of our front office team, you will be responsible for a diverse range of financial tasks, assisting with the efficient management of school funds. Your key duties will include processing invoices, printing and preparing orders, checking prices, scanning, printing and filing invoices, checking and categorising finance emails.
Requirements
To succeed in this role you should possess
- Previous experience in a finance/administration role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to work accurately with numbers and data.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
