At St Martin’s Infant and Junior Schools, we are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated SENDCo to join our supportive and forward-thinking team from 1st September 2025.
This is a fantastic chance to lead and shape inclusive education across both our Infant and Junior settings. The core role is three days per week as a non-class-based SENDCo, allowing you the time and focus to drive high-quality SEND provision. There is also the option to extend the role to five days a week, with up to two additional days dedicated to interventions, small group work, and/or PPA cover. This role does not come with class responsibility.
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with staff, families, and external professionals to ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive— academically, socially and emotionally.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination
- Has a clear understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
- Has experience in successfully supporting children with a range of needs
- Is an excellent communicator with strong leadership and organisational skills
- Is committed to inclusive education and passionate about supporting pupils and their families
