We are looking to recruit a School Business Manager to join our friendly team.

The School Business Manager supports the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to strategically lead and manage all aspects of finance, HR, procurement, health and safety, estate management. In addition, the School Business Manager line manages administrative and premises staff.

Prior experience in a school setting and/or an accounting or SBM qualification are desirable . Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong financial and budget management skills, knowledge of leading business disciplines as well as experience of working at senior/strategic level.

Job requirements

• Financial acumen and budget management skills

• Knowledge / experience of leading business disciplines for example, HR, procurement and administration

• Experience of working at a senior / strategic level

• IT proficient, with sound knowledge of Excel and the ability to quickly learn new software

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated, able to work on use initiative to problem solve and implement solutions

• Leadership skills, motivating and inspiring others

• Enjoy a challenge and are committed to the schools aims and vision

• Willingness to contribute to all areas of school life
