Thank you for taking an interest in Oakhill Church School. We are on a journey to secure good
outcomes for every child. It is an exciting time to join our school family as we are in a period of
embedding whole school improvement.
We are looking for an class teacher, who is committed, enthusiastic and dedicated and who will
form good relationships with children, staff and parents. We welcome applications from ECTs
as well as experienced teachers, who have a proven track record of excellent classroom
practice. The children have asked for a teacher who, ‘Makes learning interesting and fun.’
The successful candidates will:
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of pupil attainment
and progress
• Demonstrate good behaviour management
• Be committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning in an
inspiring and creative learning environment
• Be able to challenge, inspire and support all children to reach their full potential
• Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Have the ability to work effectively within the wider school team
• Support and embrace the ethos of this church school
