LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR
11.35am to 1.00pm Monday to Friday, term time only
Working hours per week: 7 hours and five minutes
We are looking to appoint a permanent lunchtime supervisor who will be responsible for providing general supervision of pupils during their lunch period.
The duties will include:
- Preparation of the dining hall before lunch
- Ensuring the children are allocated the right meals
- Supervising the pupils whilst they eat their lunch, maintaining pleasant relations with pupils;
- Getting to know the children and be aware of individuals who may not be choosing to eat healthily or adequately
- Reporting concerns about pupil welfare/conduct to the relevant member of staff
- Encourage good behaviour, ensuring an acceptable level is maintained at all times clean tables and help maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in dining area
The successful candidate should ideally:
- Be hardworking and committed
- Have a good sense of humour and team spirit
- Be flexible and responsive
- Have proven communication skills
- Enjoy working with young people
- Be willing to become a first aider if required
