Part-time teacher (2 days per week) Maternity Cover (Temporary Contract)

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Exceptional Part-Time Class Teacher required from September 2025 to cover maternity leave.

Salary: MS1- MS6 (Fringe)

St Peter and St Paul Church Primary School is a growing school in the village of Chaldon. Our vision is to inspire our pupils to develop a lifelong love of learning by equipping them with the knowledge and skills that they need to be successful at school and as citizens in the wider community.

We are looking for a teacher who:

- Inspires pupils and takes an aspirational approach to teaching and learning

- Is committed to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum which ensures that our pupils acquire the key concepts and skills in each subject area

- Strives to be a highly effective teacher and provides opportunities for all children to experience success

- Shares our commitment to develop the whole child by promoting personal development and explicitly teaching our pupils strategies to stay physically and mentally healthy

- Is a proactive team member committed to whole school development

- Is an effective organiser with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Has experience of teaching in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and/or 2 and has secure knowledge of curriculum and assessment processes

- Will support the Christian ethos of our school and strive to live out our values

- Understands their moral and statutory duty to keep our pupils safe
