School Business Manager
Starting salary: £43,923 FTE
Actual Salary: £33,911pa (based on 30 hours per week)
Salary scale: £43,923 - £47,681
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our organisation. This is a key senior leadership role which involves working closely with the headteacher and governors, playing a significant role in ensuring the smooth running of all non-teaching functions. The post provides a tremendous opportunity for someone seeking a new challenging and rewarding role.
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for effective and efficient finance, personnel, administrative, premises and health and safety leadership and management.
The post is for 30 hours per week, 42 weeks per year, to start in September 2024.
Our large Maintained Nursery School is based on two sites, both with wonderful outdoor spaces. We are also the Lead Provider for Families First Guildford (family centre and Early Help services) for the borough of Guildford with a site on Park Barn.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Positive and approachable, able to form positive relationships with staff, governors and other stakeholders
- A team player with excellent interpersonal, leadership and time management skills
- Able to demonstrate excellent strategic/ organisational/ administrative/ project management and ICT skills
- Reliable, motivated, flexible and adaptable, able to work with the changing needs of the school and Families First Guildford
- Keen to make real impact
- Qualified to degree level or holds a professional qualification in finance or business management
