Class Teacher
Our Church of England school opened in 2014 and has developed a wonderfully supportive and caring school community. We provide high-quality education while retaining our focus on the individual child.
We are seeking to recruit an inspiring and engaging teacher to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate who has just completed teacher training and is keen to put learning into practice. This could also be a great opportunity for teachers with experience looking for their next role. The successful candidate will be creative, reflective and focused on improved outcomes for all learners, no matter what their barriers. If you are enthusiastic and committed, this could be the next move for you. This is currently a temporary position to cover maternity leave, but further opportunities may arise during the next academic year. We are offering a fixed-term of the 2024-25 academic year.
We can offer
• Happy, motivated and well-behaved children who love learning
• A supportive and involved school community
• A positive working environment
• Established, friendly and professional staff team
• High quality Teaching Assistant support
• Supportive leadership
• Potential for subject leadership
• Wider opportunities and support from the SDBE and network of local schools (HLP)
The successful candidate will be keen to contribute to the wider life of the school. The ability to engage successfully with parents and members of this school community and an understanding of the school’s values are essential.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced-level check via the Disclosure & Barring Service will be required for the successful candidate. We will also conduct an online check of shortlisted applicants based on guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education. All applications must be made using the School’s application form. CVs will not be accepted.
