Ash Manor School is a successful 11-16 mixed comprehensive school committed to providing an exceptional education for the community it serves.

We are keen to appoint a talented and committed teacher to join our excellent team here in Ash Manor School. The Art and Design & Technology Department support our students to deliver high quality work and very strong results across all of the disciplines and these subjects are very popular option choices.

Our department have brand new facilities fully equipped with two Design Technology workshops, two Food classrooms (with a third underway), a first class ICT room as well as classrooms for Art, Photography and Textiles. The department is supported by two full time technicians and the students here really value these subjects and are often entered for internal and external competitions as well as involvement in Extra-Curricular clubs in the department.

We have a well-structured curriculum across all key stages and offer GCSE courses in 3D Design and there is scope for the successful candidate to teach in one dedicated subject area or across both subjects. We are also considering other DT subject areas in the future as the school expands and this subject area continues to flourish.
