JUNIOR SCHOOL MUSIC TEACHER

Early years – Year 6

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of music specialists, contributing to the delivery of outstanding curriculum music, performance, co-curricular and peripatetic music from Early Years to Year 6. Applications are invited from teachers who are experienced in all or some of this age range; the specifics of the job can be tailored to suit the interests and passions of the right candidate. If you are a dedicated teacher looking for full or part time work in our growing junior school, we would be delighted to hear from you.

You will be well-supported by colleagues, a leadership team and be part of an ambitious vision for music, which will be led by a whole school Director of Music, from September. This is an exciting time for the development of music at Claremont and an outstanding opportunity for a creative practitioner. You will be excited about working in a value-led school, where putting the needs of the children first and the ability to inspire a lifelong love of music are paramount.

In return you can expect all the benefits of a thriving independent school: a competitive and progressive salary, pension, professional development, laptop, cycle scheme, lunches in term time and on-site parking.

Further details of the role and how to apply can be found under the ‘working at Claremont’ link on our website or by calling the HR department.

Closing date: 4.00pm Thursday 24 April 2024

Interviews: week commencing 29 April 2024
