Required for June 2024, an inspirational Lead Science Technician

Required to join our large, friendly Science Department our ideal candidate will possess the ability to manage the Science Technician Team and work in partnership with our Head of Science Faculty.

This is an exciting time for the Science Department, we are going from strength to strength and have a team of high-quality practitioners that work well together and are keen to share ideas with each other and trainee teachers. Our team is innovative with a drive to introduce new and modern projects with enthusiasm.  We strongly value enhancing the learning of our students though extracurricular activities and as a result students have the opportunity to attend Science club, enter competitions and go on trips to widen their Scientific understanding.

We are looking for a Lead Science Technician who will support the Head of Science Faculty, Heads of Subject and Class teachers achieve these goals.

Ideal candidates will:

• Have experience leading and managing other people

• Have Science based A levels or higher qualifications

• Have experience of working in a laboratory environment

• Enjoy varied work and be able to prioritise tasks and work methodically

• Want the very best for our students and share our ethos of ‘Realising God-given potential’
