 Midday Supervisors

6.25 hours per week, Monday – Friday 12.15 – 1.30 pm

Salary S3 £22,599 per annum (£3,375 pro-rata) 39 weeks of the year (term time plus 5 INSET days)

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, committed and caring with good organisational skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.

Principal Accountabilities:

Under the direction and supervision of the Head of Residential Provision:

  • To organise deliver and supervise daily lunchtime recreational activities for small groups of students.
  • To deal with any first aid as necessary
  • To report to the Head of Residential Provision or Deputy Head of Residential Provision any accidents and any other matter which needs to be bought to their attention.
  • To maintain confidentiality inside and outside the workplace.
  • To ensure that all students are safe, and follow the school’s safeguarding procedures and policy at all times.
  • To undertake any other duties within the school day as requested by the Headteacher in line with the requirements of the school.

Pastoral & Community:

  • To communicate to students the values, standards and expectations of the school.
  • To contribute to the life of the community according to individual talents and skills, including a willingness to undertake the organisation of extra-curricular activities.
  • To undertake regular training, including regular training relating to Autism.
  • To undertake other such duties as may be reasonably required.

Additional Information:

  • Annual appraisal will be carried out by the Head of Residential Provision

The duties may vary to meet the changing needs and demands of the school at the discretion of the Headteacher in consultation with you.
