Due to the retirement of our current School Business Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for a new enthusiastic and self-motivated School Business Manager to join us and be at the core of a dynamic and inclusive maintained primary school, alongside an inspirational Headteacher and strong Leadership Team.
GRADE: PS9 - Pro rata for 24 hours - minimum £23,703pa, maximum £26,191pa dependant on experience. Based on expected pay review from 1st April 2024
WORK PATTERN: We are looking for at least 24 hours per week over 40 weeks of the year. The total contracted hours will be subject to negotiation between the school and yourself, and we are open to some flexibility in this. School is open for 39 weeks of the year including 5 inset days, and so there will be at least one week that will need to be worked during the school holidays. In some years, dependant on projects, more holiday working may be required. This role does have the opportunity to conduct some work from home.

We are looking for someone who is efficient and courteous, and ideally has hand’s on experience in managing budgets and financial reporting in an educational setting. Experience in HR, procurement, marketing and facilities management would be desirable.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the school’s non-teaching functions.
This role will give you the opportunity of working with a forward thinking Headteacher who has been instrumental in driving the school forward to a place of real strength over recent years.
