School Office Manager
To commence September 2024, or sooner

The ideal candidate for this key role will be personable, organised and resourceful with a ‘can do’ attitude. They will possess the skills and the desire to manage our friendly and knowledgeable supportive office team, in delivering a range of administration, processes and functions in our fantastic primary school.

Well-developed people skills, initiative and the ability to oversee and coordinate the activities of a small team is key. The successful candidate will pride themselves on delivering a high quality service, working closely with the leadership team and the Trust’s central services. Whilst previous school experience is desirable, more important is the ability to develop positive relationships with all stakeholders, and be able to understand and contribute to the shared vision. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential and previous experience working in a busy office environment is desirable.

The working pattern will be Monday – Friday and ideally 8.30 am – 4.30 pm during term time, with some flexibility to support occasional attendance for planned events outside this time. The actual starting salary, based on 37.5 hours per week for 40 weeks per year, is £29,170.
