Oakwood School has the following Support Staff vacancy:-

Year Pastoral and Wellbeing Lead

36 hours per week Monday to Friday 39 weeks per year

Surrey Pay Grade S7 £26,895 - £28,666 (FTE £31,262 - £33,321)

We are looking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, adaptable individual to join our successful Student Services Department. The role of the Year Pastoral and Wellbeing Lead is to provide support to students in terms of positive behaviour, attitude, attendance, physical and mental wellbeing and pastoral care to enable students to make relevant progress and engage in their learning.

Previous experience of working with children (11-16) and their families, preferably in an educational setting is required and experience of dealing with external agencies would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent and efficient organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills combined with strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills (Microsoft Office & SIMS). They will also have a calm and tactful approach, ability to work to tight deadlines and be emotionally resilient.
