The Role and You
As an IT Helpdesk Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing 1st line support to College campuses and ensuring that all IT resources are not interrupted during operational hours by providing pro-active support. This includes logging all support calls and service requests and administer using the appropriate service desk software and working to any agreed Service Level Agreement.
You will also be responsible for the Reprographics room and associated equipment and responsible for placing and monitoring orders made for all of the Information and Business Systems Technology Department.
The successful applicant will hold an A+ or equivalent qualification (e.g. BTEC, Diploma in AV / IT or City & Guilds) or equivalent 1 year’s relevant experience.
