HR Administrator
The Key Facts:
- This is a fulltime, office based role, there are no exceptions.
- It is a school with finite resources, therefore, the salary is determined and cannot be negotiated.
- There is no HR Team, it is the administrator and the senior leadership team who are responsible for the HR processes in the school.
- The essential elements of the role are the Single Central Register (SCR) and payroll. Around these tasks will be letters, contracts, on boarding, note taking and trackers, as you would expect.
- It is a very busy role; you will have to work at pace and with accuracy.
- Training will be provided but…
- You will need to have some experience of payroll and good administrative skills including word and excel.
- There is a member of the team tasked with providing some admin support, alongside other confidential roles.

Working hours either:
- Full-time, 36 hours - 5 days per week, 26 days holiday (must include school closure days)
- Surrey Pay Grade PS8 starting at £35,730

As a large, high performing, supportive and progressive secondary school, we are seeking a specific individual to join our family here at Winston to be responsible for supporting nearly 200 staff. - All matters relating to the Human Resources of the school and its business interests.
- Maintaining and monitoring of accurate HR records & production of information required.
- Ensuring the accuracy of the Safeguarding Register (SCR).
- Undertaking the accurate input of information and meeting deadlines for monthly payroll.
- Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team on the HR processes and challenges.
- Providing general HR support including attendance and contribution at meetings.
- Maintaining records and data relating to the school’s staffing.

No remote working: as a middle leader you are required to be part of the running of our school and contributing to the whole school ethos. This role requires you to be in the office five days per week.
