The Winston Churchill School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, ambitious Drama teacher who is creative, motivated and keen to lead our outstanding Drama Department and to work with our award winning Music Department.

The successful candidate will be ambitious for the students and create challenging and inspiring experiences for children, especially through our annual musical production, which usually has up-to 300 children involved. These are well-known in the area and most recently had recognition nationally when we were finalists in The Music and Drama Awards for Musical Theatre.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, a passion to support young people to make progress and the ability to teach innovatively and creatively across KS3 & KS4. The post would be suitable an experienced drama teacher. Typically 70 students will take GCSE drama every year.

You will be ambitious and aspirational with a desire to achieve County & National recognition for the work of the Drama department.  Our facilities are excellent, including a superb, state of the art performance space.  Check out the Head's blog on our website.
