37 hours per week, term time only (39 working weeks)

Salary: £20,474 FTE

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Careers & Liaison Assistant to join our IAG team, with excellent communication skills and an in depth knowledge of independent careers advice and guidance.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Level 4 qualification in careers guidance. With specific responsibility for guiding students in their education, training and work choices, the successful candidate will have a strong influence on their future progression.

A good knowledge of Universities, subject courses, UCAS, non-academic career choices, gap years, volunteering and work experience is essential for this role along with the ability to build a rapport with young people. Experience of Schools Liaison and Event planning is also beneficial.

Flexible working required to cover evenings and occasional weekend working for liaison and community activities/events.

The post holder will be required to work 37 hours per week on a term time only basis.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
