This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the college’s provision for learners with Special Educational Needs. We are seeking to appoint experienced and highly motivated Health Care Assistant with medical experience to join our specialist nursing team within The School of Personalised Learning from 1st September 2021.
The School of Personalised Learning provides specialist education and support for 200+ young people aged 16-25 with moderate and complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Disabilities include physical and medical, communication and language as well as social, emotional and behaviour difficulties. Working with students you will form a key part of the range of services to support their education and preparation for adulthood.
We offer an innovative and personalised curriculum and are committed to working in partnership with students, families and professionals to create positive futures. Prior experience of working with people with SEND and/or SEMH would be desirable. The post is for 24 hours a week, 37 weeks per year (term time only).
All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.
