We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual who has the drive, energy and enthusiasm to contribute to the teaching in our Construction department 10 hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday 9.30am to 3.30pm. They will also possess a great sense of humour and the ability to think on their feet whilst not being easily flustered!
The Construction department provides specialist education and support to young people, aged 16-19, looking to eventually enter the world of building trades.
Our expectations of our students are high. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to inspire and motivate our students to achieve in all areas, in addition to this they will also support students in developing their self-advocacy skills.
The successful candidate will be placed on the Sixth Form Teachers Pay Spine dependent on qualifications and experience
A satisfactory criminal records check is required before the commencement of this position.
Salary FTE £25,570 - £41,732 (actual salary £10,228 - £16,692)
0.40 FTE – Fixed Term until 31st August 2022
