Salary: Grade 6-7 £26,421 - £28,770 Full Time Equivalent

Contract: 30 hours per week / 39 Weeks
Working Hours: Mon-Fri
We are looking to recruit an HTLA who will contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities and to assist and support the work of qualified Teachers. To work within the statutory frameworks relevant to the role.

We are looking for an applicant who:
- has relevant HLTA qualifications, min NVQ level 3
- can contribute to planning and development of learning activities with teachers
- be able to plan and respond to specific learning activities without referral to teachers
- be able to communicate with individual groups or whole classes of pupils to promote learning including assessing the impact of the communication and adjusting the approach as necessary
- can work under the direction of a teacher in delivering learning activities or whole classes, independently plans, prepares and delivers learning, assesses records and reports on development, progress and attainment.
- has a clear idea of strategies to encourage appropriate behaviour choices and is able to apply these in a classroom situation and outside of the classroom
- will support children of all abilities
- is flexible, well-motivated and is able to work on their own initiative,
- is a good team player
- will make a positive contribution to our school community
- is willing to, or has specific experience of, working with SEND pupils
- is willing to implement actions and strategies suggested by outside agencies
